1. Practical Life (Self-Care & Environment Care)

Toddlers participate in real daily activities such as washing hands, pouring water, preparing simple food, dressing, and returning work to shelves. These exercises build concentration, executive function, spatial orientation, and self-worth.

2. Language Acquisition & Sensory Exploration

Through precise vocabulary nomenclature, object classification, interactive songs, and tactile media (painting, water work, and natural textures), children enrich their expressive and receptive vocabulary in both English and Mandarin.

3. Psychomotor Development & Movement Mastery

Movement and intelligence are deeply interconnected. Purposeful activities—such as threading, sorting, balance work, and manipulating self-correcting wooden apparatuses—refine fine-motor control and gross-motor coordination essential for future writing.

4. Grace & Courtesy (Social Integration)

In a mixed-age group of toddlers, children learn social awareness, boundary respect, waiting their turn, and caring for peers under the gentle, respectful guidance of trained Montessori guides.

Is this playgroup accompanied or unaccompanied?

Our 12–30 month Nursery Playgroup is an accompanied program where parents or caregivers participate to maintain emotional security while learning how to support independence at home. For older toddlers ready for independent learning, DMS also offers Unaccompanied Classes (1.5–3Y).
